Luqman Harith Padzil (4A7) - DJ
Muhammad Nazrin Md. Issal (4A7) - Inspector

ENGLISH ORAL TEST/2012/4A7

Luqman; It is a pleasure to have you with us today for our live on-air sharing, Inspector. I hope everyone is attentive as they have their food during recess today.

Nazrin; The pleasure is all mine. In fact, safety is my primary concern. Nowdays, more and     more harm is commonly befalling schoolchildren, especially those on their journey to and from school.

Luqman; That is so true, Inspector. How can we promote safety among school-goers?

Nazrin; They are several precautions students can learn and practice in order to make their journey to and from school safe. The first thing is to never travel alone.

Luqman; You mean students should walk in groups?

Nazrin; Yes, or in pairs. Student should also avoid deserted areas. Crimes are prone to happen in places where there are fewer eyewitnesses.

Luqman; I see. That makes sense. I hope everyone is listening closely. These things often happen.

Nazrin; Another thing – if you ever see a suspicious-looking character hanging around the   school area, immediately inform the principal, the school security or a prefect. The person could be up to no good.

Luqman; I shall keep my eyes peeled from now onwards, Inspector.

Nazrin; Also, when intending to travel by bus, wait in line and do so in orderly manner. Do not push one another. Remember to wait for the bus to completely stop before getting down.

Luqman; Thank you very much for enlightening us, Inspector. We appreciate your time and affort taken.

Nazrin; Don’t mention it. After all, this is just me doing my job in ensuring the safety of the public.
